Product introduction

DX51D is a European standard for hot-dip galvanized steel sheets and coils, and is widely used in construction for roofing and siding applications. The standard specifies the requirements for steel with a zinc-coated (galvanized) coating weight of Z275 (275 g/m2) or higher.

Galvanized roofing sheets are made by cold-rolling steel sheets to form a series of alternating ridges and grooves, which increase the sheet's strength and stiffness. The sheets are then hot-dip galvanized to protect them from corrosion and rust.

DX51D galvanized roofing sheets are popular due to their durability, strength, and resistance to corrosion and weathering. They are available in a variety of thicknesses, widths, and lengths to suit different needs. The sheets can be easily installed using screws or nails and are often overlapped to provide a watertight seal.

In summary, DX51D galvanized roofing sheets are a reliable and cost-effective option for construction projects that require a strong and corrosion-resistant material.

Usage & AdvantageExtensive use: color steel tiles are used in many industrial or civil buildings, such as factories, hangars, stadiums and so on.
The construction is simple and the time is short: all the components are made in the factory in advance, and it can be assembled directly on site, which greatly shortens the construction cycle.
Durable and easy to repair: The steel structure is designed by computer and is resistant to bad weather.
Beautiful and practical appearance: simple and smooth lines have a modern sense, there are many colors to choose, and the shape is flexible and changeable.
Price advantage: color steel tile is relatively light, low cost, fast construction speed, economic benefits are much higher than concrete construction.

Product advantage

1.Durability: DX51D galvanized roofing sheets have a high level of durability and are resistant to corrosion, rust, and weathering, making them ideal for use in outdoor applications.

2.Strength: The corrugated design of the roofing sheets provides additional strength and stiffness, enabling them to withstand heavy loads and impacts.

3.Cost-effectiveness: Compared to other roofing materials, DX51D galvanized roofing sheets are relatively inexpensive, making them a cost-effective option for construction projects.

4.Low maintenance: Once installed, galvanized roofing sheets require very little maintenance, making them a hassle-free option for building owners.

5.Energy efficient: Galvanized steel has a high solar reflectance, which means it reflects a significant amount of sunlight and reduces the amount of heat absorbed by the building, helping to keep the interior cooler and reducing energy costs.

6.Environmental friendliness: Galvanized steel is a recyclable material, making it an environmentally friendly option for construction projects.

Compared to other types of roofing sheets, DX51D galvanized roofing sheets offer a good balance of strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness. For example, they are stronger than PVC sheets and more durable than aluminum sheets, while being less expensive than copper or zinc sheets. Additionally, they are easy to install and require little maintenance, making them a practical choice for many construction projects.

Production process:

1.Steel preparation: The process begins with the preparation of the steel sheets, which are cleaned and degreased to remove any impurities and contaminants.

2.Galvanizing bath: The sheets are then immersed in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of around 450°C. The zinc reacts with the steel to form a coating that adheres to the surface of the sheet.

3.Cooling: The sheets are then lifted out of the bath and allowed to cool. This process solidifies the zinc coating and ensures that it adheres firmly to the surface of the sheet.

4.Inspection: Once the sheets have cooled, they are inspected for any defects or imperfections in the galvanized coating. Any defects are repaired before the sheets are sent out for further processing.

5.Corrugation: The galvanized sheets are then corrugated to give them their distinctive shape and increase their strength and stiffness.

6.Cutting: The corrugated sheets are cut to the desired length and width, and any necessary holes or notches are added for fastening.

7.Finishing: The finished roofing sheets may then undergo additional treatments or coatings, such as painting or anti-corrosion coatings, depending on the specific application.
